I’ve been going through a period of self discovery lately. Wanting to know more about myself, my heritage, my ethnic background, my family history, my personal traits and so on. I feel knowing these things, gives one a higher sense of self identity. So I wanted to know more about me, and where my family comes from.
So…in June, I spat in a tube and sent it off to the Ancestry DNA lab to have my DNA tested. All my life I’ve been told I’m Black, Irish, West Indian, and Indian. I was shocked to find out the truth.

I hit rock bottom at 23. I needed to find myself. To learn to live again. To let go of my past, and repaint my future. I moved back home with my family at the age of 26 to start over. I vowed that during this time, I would do more with my life than I had done with the first 26 years. Travel more, meet new people, try new things, and become the greatest me I can be in the process. Ethnicity doesn´t change what skin color you have. You are still black or white or whatever. So you cant say im 30% black because 30% of me is from africa. If you know what i mean.
Basically 99.5% of all humans are "interracial", also because there is only one race; human race. "Scandinavian" or "Iberian" or "Irish" or "whatever" are not definition of "races". Please some may any scientist write a comment here?

Scandinavian has very dominant DNA traits because of the harsh environment. Like curly African hair was crucial to protect from parasites so it tends to cancel straight hair. Scandinavians have strong blood traits to protect from viruses and infections more common in northern climate. It doesn't mean 32% of your ancestors have been Scandinavian it just means 32% of the DNA traits can be traced back their.
In every video like this I see, when they have some Scandinavian DNA is always like "Woooow, What?! Cool!"
